I find my V912 gets between 30 and 40 flights before the stock motor gives out, it is always the brushes, as they are tiny thin pads, and not even proper bed in will extend it much. This motor solves that, the last one I put in has done hundreds of batteries, and is still going, I did bed in the brushes prior to first flight, and it definitely helps (1V for 15 minutes no load) and on top of that, this motor runs cooler, has more power and flies much better. I only had to change the connector to a 2 pin XH cut from dead motor and put a 9 tooth pinion on it. Check direction is correct before soldering wires. It is dearer than stock can, but well worth it. I have also done a brushless upgrade on one heli, but this order was made to convert it back, the brushless has difficulty starting, chews batteries faster and it's esc upsets the balance, This motor is a much better option.

I used this motor and the WPL 2 speed transfer case and it is a great combination. I also used the 30 amp esc for brushed motors. This motor is much higher rpm and probably twice the power of the original. Be aware that this motor doesnt get down to crawling speed quite as well as the original one does but it gives you much higher top speed. This motor is almost as fast in low as the other motor is in high! use a flat strip of metal and cut a groove in it to slip the motor shaft through. let the motor hang beneath the metal strip shown below in the pictures and tap the shaft out of the gear. I use a small finishing nail with the tip blunted to drive out the shaft. Make sure the nail is smaller than 2mm. Just tap the gear back on the new motor, the shafts are the same size.
